Commercial & Residential Solar – Sales/Installation
Our expertise extends from remote locations to busy urban areas providing services to government, corporate, and residential clients across California. We work with preferred engineering firms or through our own network of engineers to provide solar energy construction that delivers turnkey solar energy solutions and optimized-collection systems that meet financing and power-supply requirements. We capitalize on our relationships with photovoltaic-equipment providers to cost-effectively procure materials, and work closely with our clients to properly size the facility, plan the infrastructure, construct to exact specifications, and connect it to the electric grid.
LED Retro-Fit Lighting
According to the U.S. Department of Energy, LEDs offer the potential for cutting general lighting energy use nearly in half by 2030, saving energy dollars and carbon emissions in the process. Additionally, they offer several advantages over conventional lighting:
- A long life span, typically up to 50,000 hours or more, which can greatly reduce replacement and maintenance costs.
- They create a bright, shadow-free environment that can improve the safety and comfort of your employees and customers.
- Durability and reliability, they’re less prone to breakage and contain no mercury.
Making good decisions is the key to minimizing near and long-term costs related to any home improvement. This is especially true for large, complex jobs like re-roofing. Re-roofing is almost self-explanatory in that it constitutes the installation of a new roof as opposed to adding or repairing a roof that existed before.
Insulation (blown in or batt)
There are two basic types of insulation that most homeowners know best: blown insulation and rolled insulation.
This particular type of insulation has been used for many years and is made from recycled materials. Some of the materials used to make blown insulation include paper, recycled newsprint, denim and other cellulose materials that have been treated with fire retardants. The chemicals used to treat these recycled materials are non-toxic and can be safely used to insulate and protect your home.
Sometimes also known as “batt” insulation. Some batt insulations contain fiberglass. Rolls are available in a number of different lengths and widths, making it easy to find the right size and solution for each area of your home without having a lot of extra or excess materials leftover.
Retro-Fit Windows & Doors
Replacement windows (also referred to as retrofit windows) have been developed so a contractor does not need to modify the existing opening of where the window is currently located. Retrofitting a house with high-performance windows can produce significant energy savings and improved comfort.
Your home’s exterior doors can contribute significantly to air leakage, and can also waste energy through conduction, especially if it’s old, uninsulated, improperly installed, and/or improperly air sealed. Glass or “patio” doors, especially sliding glass doors, lose much more heat than other types of doors because glass is a very poor insulator. If you have older doors in your home, replacing them might be a good investment, resulting in lower heating and cooling costs.
